Member Expectations
We are an open, collaborative, and friendly group! In joining the MLC community, we expect members to:
- Read and support our Bylaws
- Be committed to lean principles and be at some stage of the lean journey (e.g., early, mid, or advanced)
- Have an interest in Michigan's success: You can see alignment with the State of Michigan and MLC's vision
- Promote a learning and sharing environment; no solicitation
- Share information, including your own lean activities, and respond to member benchmarking questions
- Share benchmarking visits, webcasts, podcasts, proven practices, literature, meetings, conferences/seminars with others
- Provide input on what is going well and what needs to be improved regarding MLC's activities
- Be willing to host educational opportunities if feasible
- Encourage colleagues to participate in and join the Michigan Lean Consortium
- Be current in membership dues
