The MLC hosted a lean training event on March 25th:

The Michigan Lean Consortium (MLC), along with the Oakland University Pawley Lean Institute recently hosted a training event on March 25, 2011. Debra Setman, Vice-Chair of the MLC, was the presenter for this event.

"I thought it went really well. There was a great mix of attendees which led to some very active discussion. Debra's stuff was great, it gave me a better understand of how lean assessments work and how to do them. Some people were there to share and others to soak up and learn. It's one of the reasons I love the MLC, 'there is something for everyone!", said co-presenter Jon Wetzel.

This training event brought together a wide variety of Michigan organizations from health care to manufacturing in order to learn how a lean culture can be assessed and developed successfully. According the evaluations, the event was very well received and many ideas for future events were shared. Thank you to all participants for making this event a sell-out!
