Join Michigan Lean Consortium Board Member Bob Sturza and Ferris State University RN-BSN student Elle Pemble for an MLC Healthcare Community of Practice meeting on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 at noon via Zoom. The topic for this meeting will be Staffing Challenges in Challenging Times, presented by Laura Appel, executive vice president of government relations and public policy at Michigan Health & Hospital Association.

What is the purpose of the MLC Healthcare Community of Practice?

To establish and expand Lean thinking at Michigan healthcare clinics, hospitals, facilities, and medical schools by sharing best practices of Lean implementation and continuous improvement in the medical field. Staffing shortages present significant challenges to the delivery of quality and safety healthcare and are an excellent opportunity to employ creative, Lean solutions.
