Title: “ReThink” Continuous Improvement Curriculum 1 Day Training

In 2014, Health Alliance Plan, elected to do a corporate paradigm shift in how we utilize Lean continuous improvement. We are a company of approximately 1,100 employees with the recent acquisitions of HealthPlus and Midwest. Our goal is to have the entire work force at HAP (Senior leadership, to mid-level management to the front-liners) be equally trained through a 1 Day Lean Continuous Improvement class over a 5 year period. We were tasked with creating an engaging and educational curriculum to meet this requirement.

Bio:

Larry Frydrych

I am currently working as a Lean Continuous Improvement Trainer and Coach for the past 2 years with Health Alliance Plan (HAP) in Southfield, Michigan. I have over sixteen (16) years of business experience in the healthcare industry mostly as a Project Manager and ten (10) years of international experience in the commercial construction and code requirements industry. I successfully work with every layer of management including the C-suite (Senior Level) in process improvement, implementing and utilizing the Huddle system, Rapid Redesigns, Kaizens, Value Stream Mapping, A3 and other various lean tools. My first exposure to Lean happened while doing a DaimlerChrysler CIW work shop with Blue Care Network over fifteen years ago and I was hooked. I have a Bachelor of Science in Economics. I am Six Sigma Green trained and MLC Bronze level trained and successfully tested. I have now begun my studies for the MLC Silver certification.
